Under the pen name of Chrome Oxide I write humorous science fiction and fantasy. However, I've been accused of writing murder mysteries since I murder the English language and it's a mystery how I get published.
When people ask why I write what I do, I explain that my reality check bounced.
As authors we write what we know, so writing science fiction makes me a space cadet.

The final results are in. Here is the Based Book Sale - The After Action Report.
I don't know how it happened, but the morning of last day of the sale I was the number ten most popular author. At the end of the day, I moved up to the number five most popular author.

I just received notification that NewMyths.com will be publishing my short story, "I Was A Teenage Redneck Zombie From Outer Space" in their Match 2026 issue. An earlier version of this story received a honorable mention from the Writers of the Future contest.
