Many people, um, some people, er, well one person told me I should write a blog. Since that person only knows me as Chrome Oxide, and Chrome Oxide does a LOT of audio recording in bars, clubs, ... I will be writing about my adventures in musicland and recordingland.
Since I am not informing that person what I am doing, until I am sure I like doing this (I am undecided at the moment), and that I will continue doing this (I may get tired after a few entries), I am expecting a readership of zero.

At this time (August 2008) I am NOT planning on posting any of my recordings. In the past, when I was doing a radio show for Octane Radio, I was creating hour long shows featuring my recordings (which Octane Radio eventually posted as podcasts). After about 6 months of doing shows, I got sick and had to stop for a few weeks. I did get better (at least I like to think so), but since I did not get much feedback on the show, and since the radio show was a LOT of work (for no pay), I never got around to working on the show again.
However, if a band wants me to, or if I find that a band has posted some of my recordings online, I will post links to them.
Do NOT expect me to review bands.
Writing about music is like dancing about architecture.
I am not sure what else to say, except lets see if I actually manage to write any more entries. :-)
